Supplied by Actylis as a white crystalline powder, it is odorless and slightly soluble in hot water. Paracetamol is one of the most widely sold active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), classified as an antipyretic analgesic drug, meaning it reduces fever and alleviates pain. It is commonly used to treat conditions such as colds and toothaches and is available over the counter in various forms, including tablets and syrups. Paracetamol is often combined with other drugs, resulting in over 600 different over-the-counter medications.
