PelaPower ™ extract is made using the original extraction method of pelargonium sidoides as published in the European Medicines Agency monograph method using ethanol 11% at concentration ratio of 1:8-10(m/m). This extraction method for pelargonium sidoides is the most widely accepted extraction technique for most regulatory requirements. PelaPower™ is soluble and is suitable for inclusion in herbal products and food supplements such as syrups, tinctures, tablets and oral drops/sprays.

The pelargonium raw material is first tested as per the European pharmacopoeia specification. We then produce a liquid extract using 11% or 60% hydroethanolic blend. This extract is then vacuum or spray dried to produce PelaPower™.
